MEMORA reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
2. Eligibility
To use MEMORA, you must be at least 18 years old. By accessing the Website, you affirm that you are of legal age to agree to these Terms and Conditions or have parental/guardian consent.
3. User Accounts
Registration:You may be required to register and create an account to access certain features of MEMORA. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up-to-date.
Account Security:You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify MEMORA immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Use of the Website

Post content that is illegal, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate

5. Content Ownership and Licensing
User-Generated Content:When you upload content, including images, text, or videos, to MEMORA (“User Content”), you retain ownership of the content but grant MEMORA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, modify, and distribute your content on the Website as necessary to provide our services.
Content Responsibility:You are solely responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, and legality of your content. By uploading content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to share it and that it does not infringe on the rights of third parties.
6. Payments and Fees
Certain features on MEMORA may require payment. By choosing a paid feature, you agree to pay the corresponding fees and any applicable taxes. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or specified in these terms.
The cost for uploading a memorial or death announcement shall be KES 5,999 and the post shall remain active for 2 years.
For people who want their posts to be featured for a period of two weeks on the website’s homepage they will pay KES 999 and can always renew at any time for another two weeks.
After two years, users must renew their post annually for KES 1,000 to continue having them up on Memora
7 . Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the Website, including text, images, software, and trademarks, is owned by MEMORA or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content on the Website without written permission from MEMORA or the respective copyright holder.
8. Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, is available on this website. By using the Website, you agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Website for any activities that could harm MEMORA, other users, or third parties. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

Uploading content that violates intellectual property rights.

MEMORA reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Website, without notice, if you violate these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Website.
