It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of our father Elder Richard Atebe Maunga which occurred on the evening of November 16th, 2023 at Christamarianne Mission Hospital in Kisii County after a short illness.
He hailed from Ruora, Riosiri, South Mogirango, Gucha District. Son to the late Mzee Maunga and Mama Nyabwanga. Husband to Mama Abigael Kwamboka Atebe and father to Zipporah Atebe (late), Duke Atebe (US), Ronah Atebe (late), Neliah Atebe (Kisii), Kepha Atebe (Kisii), Lydia Atebe (NRB) and Sylvia Atebe (NRB).
He was a brother to the late Onywoki Maunga, late Mochama Maunga, late Omwamba Maunga and late Mokobi Maunga. Dad was an uncle to many and a grandfather to Lewis, Brenda, Anne, Omwamba, Talia, Sasha, and Sharon.
