He was son of the late James Munyoli and the late Luisa Mukonyo of Kavilinguni sub-location Kakuyuni division Kangundo sub-county Machakos County.

Husband of Loise Mbatha (formerly central bank of Kenya). Father of Eric Munyoli of USA, Maurice Muthama of KCB bank and the late Darius Musyoka. Father in-law of Rachael Munyoli (USA) and Eva Muthama of Spinal Injury Refferal Hospital. Grandpa of Duane Muthama, Ivana Muthama and Jay Jadael Munyoli.

Brother of the late Daniel Kyale Munyoli and the late Joel Mutiso Munyoli, brother in-law of Cecilia Kyale Naumi Kyale and Rodah Joel, the late Titus Makau, the late Isaac, Joyce Muange, Sarah Komu among others.

Son in-law of the late William Makau and the late Rose Makau, uncle of Christine Mbithe, Flora Soo, Stephen Munyoli, Peter Kyale Acc Meru, Simon Ndambo, Shandrack Muinde Kenya Police Mombasa, Lucy Kyale of Britain, Peter Makau, Paul Makau,Tabitha Steve and Henry Muange among others.
